Hands-on portfolio evidence. Job postings for Looker roles increasingly ask candidates to describe dashboards they have built, metrics they have defined, or data problems they have solved. A certification without concrete examples of your work carries less weight than one supported by a portfolio of Looks and dashboards.

Table calculation fluency.
